Our various service activities offer a chance to use your unique talents, broaden your interests and meet new friends. Civic pride is just one of the many benefits of joining GFWC Woman’s Club of West Allis.
GFWC-Wisconsin Woman’s Club of West Allis, organized in 1898 and federated in 1900, is a service organization, which promotes community improvement through education, fellowship and involvement. Our membership includes women of all ages and from all walks of life working together for the betterment of our community and beyond.
General Meetings of the Club are held the 1st Friday of the month October-May (except January) at Mt. Hope Lutheran Church Community Room located at 8633 West Becher Street, West Allis, WI 53227. Business meeting starts at 11:00 a.m. An educational and/or entertainment program follows an optional noon luncheon. Yearly there are evening meetings.
*You do not have to live in West Allis to become a member.
**Please note that GFWC Woman’s Club of West Allis is nondenominational.
Members attend conferences of the International GFWC (General Federation of Women’s Clubs), GFWC Great Lakes Region, GFWC-Wisconsin Federation of Women’s Clubs, and GFWC-WI Lakeshore District.
